Alex joined Negentropy in 2021 as the manager responsible for institutional relations and took the
role of Chief Operating and Risk Officer in 2023. Alex joins the Negentropy Board bringing over 28
years of experience in investment banking, equity derivatives, equity capital markets and asset
management. Prior to Negentropy, Alex was a Managing Director and EMEA Head of Equity
Solutions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Alex started his career at J.P. Morgan, in the M&A and
the investment banking department and subsequently held senior positions in London and New york
working for Morgan Stanley and UBS. During his career he mainly focused on financial institutions,
SWFs and large corporations leading high profile equity capital market transactions and structuring
and arranging complex strategic equity derivative solutions.

Following his investment banking career, Alex advised UK and European asset management
companies on their fund-raising and investment activities mainly focusing on Private Debt and Real
Estate.

Alex holds a degree in Economics and Finance form the Universita’ Cattolica of Milan and an MBA
(Distinction) from Oxford University’s Said Business School. He is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish
and French.
